Paula, just wanted to tell you about Oak and some of her accomplishments. Oak weighs in about 85 pounds and has that true chessie passion about hunting. We were able to have her trained professionally by Chris Akin of Webb Footed Kennels and the results have been outstanding. We hunt every chance we can in the flooded timber of Arkansas and the boat rides in can be just as exciting as the hunts. Oak is the first to put on that gameface and become so serious about the hunt, yet will also be the one who will do something so funny that you still see that pup in her. She has brought so much joy to my family and become a hunting buddy to my son that a price cannot be placed. Thank you for helping bring to my family such a big bundle of joy wrapped up in alot of curls.The trainer is from Jonesboro, Arkansas and became known in his field by winning a World Championship in retrieving w/ his Lab named Boomer. Chris told me from the start that he feared the first month because of his past experiences w/ chessies, but within the first week fell in love w/ Oak mainly for her temperment and readiness every mourning to work. We are also from Jonesboro, Ar.. We also are a member of the Laguille River HRC Club and hope to gain Season Level w/ Oak after Duck season has ended.
